RiteAV's 15 Feet Power Extension Cord AC Male to Female, 16AWG is ideal for extending the length of an existing power cord. It can be used with a variety of equipment, like PCs, printers, monitors and PDUs in the office or standard household devices like speakers, projectors and HDTVs that require a heavier gauge cable. One end of the cord is fitted with a NEMA 5-15 Plug which connects to standard North American grounded receptacles or wall outlets and the opposite end has the mating connector, a NEMA 5-15 Receptacle, which connects to any standard 5-15 grounded plug. The fact that it's rated for both indoor and outdoor use provides you added flexibility and a wider variety of use. The 3-Prong Grounded Plug provides enhanced safety and the fact that it's polarized ensures that the hot and neutral wires are in proper alignment, so the cord is more secure.
